01Why do I need an account?
Your history syncs between devices and queued scans can notify you when they finish. An account is also how rate limits and consent confirmations are enforced.
02What does "unknown" mean in username presence?
The site blocked or did not answer our check in time, so we cannot say whether the handle exists there. It is not the same as "not found".
03Why is a result kept for 30 days?
So you can compare before and after a fix. You can delete any result immediately from its detail screen.
04A tool says it is not configured on this server.
Some lookups depend on a third-party API key (for example, breach data). If the key is not set, the tool refuses to run rather than fail silently.
05Can I check someone else's email or handle?
Only with their explicit permission or under an engagement that authorizes it. Sensitive tools ask you to confirm this, and every run is tied to your account.
06How do I delete everything?
Account tab, Delete account. It removes your history, saved results, sessions, and device registrations at once.
